Electrical Modeler (BIM) at Latitude Inc – Frederick, Maryland

A growing and innovative organization is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Modeler (BIM) with a focus on electrical systems to support commercial construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex designs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the development of high-quality electrical systems using advanced modeling tools.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with BIM modeling, a strong understanding of electrical design, and a passion for delivering accurate and efficient project solutions.

• Develop and maintain BIM electrical models and drawings for commercial projects

• Create and modify 3D models of electrical systems, including power, lighting, and wiring

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy

• Perform clash detection and assist in resolving design conflicts

• Update models to reflect design changes and project requirements

• Support coordination of electrical systems within overall building design

• Assist in improving BIM standards, workflows, and best practices

• Provide technical support related to BIM tools and modeling processes

• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on modeling progress

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred

• 2+ years of experience in BIM modeling within the commercial electrical industry

• Proficiency in Revit and other BIM software

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes

• Experience supporting commercial building projects is highly preferred
