Concrete/Masonry Foreman at Europa Construction Corp – Newark, New Jersey

• Salary/Pay Rate: $30 to $40 per hour (based on experience)plus Performance Bonus.

• Location: Onsite (Newark, NJ).

• Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekends.

• Project Scope: Residential & Commercial Concrete / Masonry / Coatings

• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA 30, Driver's License.

You will serve as a foundational leader within our field operations, directly overseeing the craftsmanship of our concrete and masonry teams. This role provides the autonomy to manage high-quality installations while receiving the support of a company committed to your long-term professional growth.

• Direct daily field operations for concrete and masonry crews to ensure projects meet high-quality standards.

• Interpret complex blueprints and project plans to execute precise concrete pours and masonry installations.

• Coordinate the seamless delivery of materials and equipment to maintain strict project timelines.

• Supervise onsite safety protocols to ensure every team member operates in a secure environment.

• Communicate progress updates and technical logistics clearly to project managers and subcontractors.

• Solve real-time site obstacles to prevent delays in residential and commercial construction schedules.

• Mentor crew members by providing hands-on training in finishing, block work, and brick installation.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on construction experience specifically with concrete and masonry.

• Proven experience in a foreman, lead, or supervisory capacity within a field environment.

• Must have the ability to use basic software (Microsoft Suite, Pro Core, Etc.)

• Active OSHA 10 certification and a valid Drivers License.

• Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed construction drawings and plans.

• Reliable ability to commute to the office.

• Professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese to enhance team communication.

• 5 or more years of leadership experience in the concrete or masonry industry.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Active OSHA 30

• Experience navigating commercial projects.

• Being bilingual in Spanish is a major plus!
