Catering Server at Meriwether Godsey, Inc. – Holderness, New Hampshire

Meriwether Godsey is looking for Catering Servers; someone who enjoys providing our guests with the finest food and drink, accompanied by an attentive and positive attitude at a private co-educational college preparatory school located in Holderness, NH.

• Temporary/On Call Positions
• $16.00 per hour pay rate
  

What the Catering Server will do:

• Set up tables, linens, chairs, and serving stations for full-service banquet events.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area to facilitate workflows and minimize safety hazards.
• Greet and welcome guests, and respond to specific requests in a courteous manner.
• Serve beverages and foods in the designated order and quickly remove dishes at the end of each course, meal, or function; replenish beverages and check with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Collect used dishes and utensils from tables and return them to the dishwashing area
• Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
• Reset the banquet as specified by Management to ensure readiness for other functions.

What the Catering Server will need:

• 2 years of Food Service/Banquet Service experience desired
• Bartending experience a plus
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication and good organizational skills
• Flexibility: ability to switch between locations and job duties
• Ability to stand/move about for long periods and lift 50 lbs
• Ability to handle high-volume customers
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable Transportation
