What you will be doing:
- HVAC Mechanic will install heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in new commercial construction and tenant offices
- Complete paperwork daily, recording materials used on each job, in accurate manner.
- Able to independently install new HVAC systems
- Ability to wire up all basic HVAC low voltage wiring: furnace, a/c, thermostats, zone controls
- Ability to fabricate duct fittings
- Ability to read blueprints and lay out duct
What you need for this position:
- 5 to 10 years of Commercial HVAC Install experience
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipment
- Ability to frequently lift 75 pounds and ability to lift and regularly carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Sufficient physical ability to work in awkward places and from ladders or scaffolding as required by projects
- Physical ability to endure high and low outside temperatures
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pass an on site drug test
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
