About Boston Legacy FC
Boston Legacy FC (the “Club”) is Boston’s new professional women’s soccer team, which will begin play in the National Women’s Soccer League in March of 2026. We are dedicated to building a championship-caliber organization on and off the pitch. We are passionate about advancing women’s sports, investing in our local community, and redefining the future of professional soccer. The Role
As a Game Day Communications Intern, you will play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day and matchday logistics of the club. This hands-on internship provides valuable experience in the operational side of a professional soccer organization, particularly in a communications role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of matchday communications operations, including press conferences and press box.
  • Check in and coordinate media members, including photographers and broadcast crews.
  • Perform runner duties during the game, helping comms operations in the press box coordinate with operations at field level.
  • Help maintain a welcoming and professional press box by acting as a press box marshal.
  • Help log and pass out up-to-date game information.
  • Participate in internal planning meetings prior to each game day.
  • Serve as a representative of Boston Legacy FC during home matches, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for media partners.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of related work experience, preferably in a sports context
    • Majoring/taking courses in areas like Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism may also suffice
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for soccer and enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to travel and willingness to work evenings and weekends for home matches at Gillette Stadium and Centreville Bank Stadium.

The pay range for this role is:
15 - 15 USD per hour(Boston, MA)
