Position Summary
The Operations Team Lead I oversees daily warehouse operations for an assigned shift or functional area, ensuring tasks are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently while supporting workflow, training staff, and maintaining communication across teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Assign daily tasks and adjust labor to meet operational targets.
· Monitor workflow, address bottlenecks, and ensure timely completion.
· Train and coach associates to maintain high performance.
· Enforce safety policies and proper equipment use.
· Verify accuracy of shipments and maintain documentation.
· Serve as communication point between associates, supervisors, and routing teams.
Requirements:Required Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 1–2 years of warehouse/distribution experience; leadership experience preferred.
· Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and WMS systems.
· Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, influence, and resolve conflicts.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and peak-period overtime as business needs dictate.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
· Coursework or certifications in logistics, warehouse operations, or leadership.
· 2+ years of warehouse/distribution experience.

Physical Requirements
Warehouse
· Ability to lift, carry, and move items—often 30–50 lbs regularly, and occasionally heavier depending on the role.
· Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods, sometimes for an entire shift.
· Repetitive motions, such as reaching, pulling, pushing, and manual handling of products.
· Operating or working around machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or conveyor systems (with appropriate training).
· Tolerating varying environmental conditions, like hot, cold, or noisy warehouse spaces.
