Salary: $90k - $115k

Purpose of the Position:

Role Summary:

Reporting to the AVP, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator monitors the recruitment strategy, process, and needs of the organization. The person in this role will be responsible for creating sourcing strategies, monitoring job boards, and supervising a team that includes Talent Acquisition Lead, Talent Acquisition Specialists, and possibly others.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor the talent acquisition team to ensure consistency with organizational processes and procedures.
  • Conduct informative and effective meetings with staff to communicate critical information clearly.
  • Monitor and ensure that Talent Acquisition KPIs, targets, and goals are met.
  • Familiarity working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), different job boards, and recruitment platforms to effectively; source and identify quality candidates, interpret reporting metrics, and review data to make informed business decisions and enhance strategic planning.
  • Search for and maintain sources for filling hard to fill positions.
  • Creation, review, and update of job descriptions to ensure proper documentation of job roles, responsibilities, standards, and expectations.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to support their staffing and recruitment needs.
  • Assist with the creation, implementation, and execution of various training courses for hiring managers specific to interview and selection, hiring and onboarding, and more.
  • Support the recruiters regularly with problem areas or specific recruiting strategies
  • Maintain professional relationships with colleges, universities, community placement offices and internal stakeholders as sources to generate qualified applicants. Schedule and attend job/career fairs with talent acquisition staff.
  • Work with temporary staffing agencies as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining the employee onboarding process for new employees.
  • Collaborate with various departments within Win to ensure new hire processes are accurate and complete.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of employment law; regulations, best practices and current trends pertaining to talent acquisition.
  • Familiarity and expertise working with job boards such as LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, Zip Recruiter, CareerBuilder for recruitment purposes.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to Win’s mission, vision and values.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, plus four (4) years of talent acquisition management experience.
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast paced, changing work environment.
  • Must be detailed oriented and demonstrate the ability to multi-task is required.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Bi-lingual, English/Spanish a plus.
  • Strongly preferred, experience in social services, nonprofit sectors or similarly regulated environments.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity, urgency, and incomplete information.

Essential Functions, Physical & Travel Requirements:

  • Regular travel to program sites, colleges and universities, partnering organizations, career fairs, hiring events.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout shelter environments
  • Must be able to attend Win sponsored events as necessary
