Location: Brewster, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $20.00–$21.50 per hour (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify each student’s strengths and interests to guide them toward meaningful employment opportunities
- Serve as a job coach for both on-campus and community-based employment, providing hands-on support and guidance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community employers to create and sustain job opportunities for students
- Monitor and assess student job performance, tracking progress toward IEP-based goals and benchmarks
- Support students in developing workplace skills and ensuring they meet their employment responsibilities with confidence
- Implement individualized support and behavior plans, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Stay current on mandatory trainings and certifications to provide the highest level of support
- Provide therapeutic crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring student safety and well-being
- Perform duties within the scope of the role, with flexibility to assist in occasional emergency situations
- Maintain professional appearance, demonstrate empathy, and communicate effectively in English
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to physically intervene in instances of extreme behavior to ensure student and staff safety
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Strong time management skills
