About This Position
Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Schedule: 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM | Evening Shift
Position Type: Seasonal (Mid-April – November)
Schedule: Weekends and holidays as needed
Saucon Valley Country Club is seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the primary host for our Weyhill Guest House and Cottages. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, guest interaction, and working in a beautiful and professional environment.
Located on our scenic Weyhill Campus, the Guest House and Cottages provide a private lodging experience exclusively for members and their guests, including wedding parties, golf groups, and visiting members. Designed to feel like a luxury private residence within the club, the property offers attentive service and a peaceful retreat within our 850-acre campus.
The Afternoon Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the evening hours.

- Complete guest check-in procedures using the NorthStar reservation system
- Assist with luggage and general guest needs when necessary
- Provide directions and information about club amenities and activities
- Assist guests with dining reservations and club services
- Respond to guest questions and special requests
- Monitor the Guest House and Cottage common areas
- Ensure all spaces remain clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Reset seating areas, patios, and gathering spaces
- Clean and restock common area bathrooms
- Organize the billiards room and shared spaces
- Collect and return used glassware
- Maintain accurate guest records and requests
- Communicate guest information and updates to the overnight attendant
- Complete and email the daily communication report before the end of the shift
- Assist management with projects that enhance the guest experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous hospitality, hotel, front desk, or country club experience preferred
- Strong customer service and hospitality mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Basic computer and administrative skills
- Experience with reservation systems preferred
- Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
- Work on a beautiful 850-acre campus
