About the Role:

The Beverage Cart Driver plays a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of guests at golf courses, resorts, or similar recreational venues by providing timely and courteous beverage and snack service directly on the course. This position requires navigating the course efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure customer satisfaction. The driver is responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of the beverage cart, ensuring all products are stocked, fresh, and presented attractively. Additionally, the role involves interacting with guests to anticipate their needs and respond promptly to requests, contributing to a positive and memorable outing. Ultimately, the Beverage Cart Driver supports the venue’s reputation by delivering exceptional service that encourages repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a minimum of 18 to apply
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a golf cart or similar vehicle safely.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles.
• Familiarity with golf course operations and etiquette.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS or equivalent).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak seasons.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the beverage cart safely and efficiently throughout the golf course or designated area.
• Stock and maintain inventory of beverages, snacks, and related supplies, ensuring freshness and availability.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations as appropriate.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and responsibly during transactions.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the beverage cart to ensure it remains in excellent working condition.
