The Opportunity

You will serve as a foundational leader within the project management team, providing critical technical and administrative support to Project Managers and Superintendents. This role empowers you to manage high-stakes documentation and logistics that ensure the seamless delivery of complex commercial builds. You will have the autonomy to identify new efficiencies and the support of a firm that prioritizes your long-term career development.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Coordinate all project documentation, including plans and specifications, to ensure field teams always have access to the most current versions.

  • Manage the procurement process by ordering materials and rental equipment while accurately applying costs to project budgets.

  • Execute project submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs) in strict accordance with contract specifications and timelines.

  • Collaborate with Superintendents to develop and refine project site logistics plans that optimize daily field operations.

  • Evaluate weekly field labor timecards to ensure accurate cost coding and maintain the financial integrity of the project.

  • Strengthen client relationships by prioritizing satisfaction and long-term retention through high-quality project delivery.

  • Support the estimating department during the bidding phase to help secure and launch new commercial ventures.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or a related commercial construction management role.

  • Proven ability to track and coordinate document revisions while evaluating their impact on project cost and schedule.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing electronic field drawings and providing mobile-accessible data to field teams.

  • Strong organizational skills necessary for maintaining master project schedules and providing weekly stakeholder updates.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial construction quality control programs and project closeout processes.

  • Experience in assisting the owner and subcontractor change orders within a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to offer strategic suggestions for process improvement and adaptation to industry changes.
