About the Role

The Sorter is responsible for evaluating and processing used clothing, shoes, and accessories at the Sorting Center. This role includes both initial sorting to identify items with resale potential and fine sorting to evaluate quality, assign grades, categorize by type and season, price items, and apply hang tags.

Location: Cerritos, CA

Schedule:

• Work Days: Monday to Friday
• Start Time: Between 7:00AM - 8:00 AM Pacific Time
• Duration: 8 hours per day
• Salary: $23.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize products into appropriate categories by type and season
• Assign individual pricing based on brand, condition, trend, and market value
• Maintain an organized and clearly labeled workstation

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Passion for fashion with an eye for current trends
• Familiarity with popular brands, styles, and seasonal demand
• Previous experience in retail, resale, or warehouse sorting is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of high-demand items and ability to identify products for specialty display or pricing
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
• Experience as a buyer highly preferredsz
• This position is labor-intensive and requires consistent physical exertion throughout the day. Candidates should be prepared for a physically demanding role that involves lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods as part of daily responsibilities.
