VP of Product, Stablecoin Issuance

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP of Product, Stablecoin Issuance in the United States.

The VP of Product, Stablecoin Issuance, will lead the strategic development and scaling of regulated stablecoin offerings for institutional clients. This role combines product management, cross-functional program leadership, and partner engagement to shape the core infrastructure, operational processes, and ecosystem integrations that enable secure and compliant stablecoin issuance. The position works closely with banks, fintech partners, engineering, and compliance teams to deliver scalable solutions, optimize time-to-market, and ensure institutional-grade controls. The ideal candidate is a technically astute, commercially minded leader with experience in payments, fintech, or banking products. The role provides the opportunity to become a recognized subject matter expert in stablecoin operations and innovation while driving measurable impact across regulated financial ecosystems. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and regulatory-focused, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for stablecoin issuance, covering onboarding, mint/burn processes, controls, reporting, and integrations
  • Partner with U.S. banks, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners to implement solutions for treasury management, cross-border settlement, and client offerings
  • Lead cross-functional programs spanning compliance, regulatory, finance, accounting, treasury, operations, audit, and engineering teams to maintain institutional-grade standards
  • Build and strengthen a partner ecosystem, including exchanges, card networks, payment companies, and asset managers, to expand adoption and co-develop capabilities
  • Translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into actionable product requirements and partner-ready implementations
  • Define success metrics, launch readiness, and operational processes to optimize issuance volume, speed-to-market, and ecosystem engagement
  • Influence senior stakeholders through clear communication, trade-off framing, and strategic guidance while maintaining governance and risk controls

Requirements:

  • Proven track record managing complex fintech, payments, or banking products with regulatory dependencies
  • Experience leading end-to-end cross-functional programs in regulated environments, including compliance, risk, controls, and audit
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with executive-level partners and internal technical teams
  • Ability to translate regulatory and technical constraints into clear product solutions and scalable processes
  • Bias for ownership and execution in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Familiarity with institutional crypto infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and tokenization a plus
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across functions and at senior levels
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in finance, business, or technology preferred

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision
  • Paid time off and flexible work arrangements
  • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development
  • Collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment
