Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Loads and unloads trucks, and other conveyances, moves supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand truck.

Stacks materials for storage or binning.

Collects refuse and salvageable materials.

Moves and arranges office and household furniture, equipment, appliances, and machinery Note: Assist in the Linen Process to include but not limited to (inventory, delivery and pickup of clean and dirty linen).

Spreads sand and salt on icy walkways.

Picks up leaves and trash.

Provide baggage support when needed.

Understand, comply, and enforce all Project directives.

Wear PPE all the time during work.

Will comply with all OSHA regulatory safety standards.

Must be able to obtain forklift certification.

Understand and comply with all Performance Work Statement requirements.

Adherence to all TLC Policies accessed through Deltek Costpoint via the following path.

This position supports the DOD on a federal installation and the candidate must be available to work at the assigned physical location during business hours.

o Bliss 8:00AM-4:30PM (M-F)

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties as assigned/approved by management.

Support and enforce the QC/Safetys Programs guidance.

Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Essential :

High school diploma/GED or equivalent.

1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Ability to take initiative and responsibility of directives or instructions.

Preferred :

N/A.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails, and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to customers, internal and external, clients and other employees in the organization. Ability to interpret instructions and information and explain to others in the performance of this job in English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods oftime. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling material. Must have the ability to work indoors or outdoors in bad weather. Handle equipment/supplies weighing 30 pounds individually and occasionally items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance. Must possess visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone. Wearing of safety equipment (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment is required during all periods of exposure to hazardous conditions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/HOURS:

This position is not eligible for remote work, as the essential functions of the role require the employee to perform duties on-site. May be exposed to inclement/extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may vary from moderate to high, depending on location . Must be able to work in fast paced, multi-task environment. If applicable work 10(+) hours per day Will require having flexed hours to accommodate for mission requirements to include weekends and Holidays. Overtime may be required.

EXPECTATIONS:

Transportation & Access: You must have reliable transportation to and from work and be able to access military installations.

Background & Drug Screening: Employment requires passing a background check and pre-employment drug screening. Random drug and alcohol testing may also occur without prior notice.

Timesheets: Record your actual work hours daily and ensure your entries are accurate and timely to support smooth operations.

Dress & Punctuality: Arrive on time and dress appropriately for your shift.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS:

All employees are required to undergo an initial background investigation as a condition of employment. Additionally, employees may be subject to subsequent background investigations if circumstances warrant, such as the emergence of a need, an issue, or probable cause.

Employees assigned to work on federal installations or projects must also comply with government-mandated background investigations, which are conducted independently of the company's investigations. Employment and continued assignment to federal installations are contingent upon successfully meeting and maintaining these requirements.
