The Menchey School of Music, part of Menchey Music Service, is home to a vibrant and growing private lesson program serving students across the region. As the area’s largest family-owned music retailer, we’re proud to pair high-quality instruction with a welcoming, well-organized, and supportive studio environment where both students and teachers thrive.
We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic, dependable Piano Instructor to join our team at our Gambrills lesson studio. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys building meaningful student relationships, crafting engaging lessons, and being part of a music-centered community that truly values education.
Minimum Availability- One weeknight (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM) or
- One consistent 4-hour block on Saturdays
- A steady stream of students through established marketing and enrollment systems
- Full administrative support—we handle scheduling, billing, and logistics so you can focus on teaching

Qualifications:
- A strong musical background demonstrated by at least 2 years of college-level music training, 5 years of teaching or professional performance experience, or an equivalent combination
- A bachelor’s degree in music education, performance, or a related field is preferred; candidates currently working toward a degree are also encouraged to apply
- Experience working with a variety of learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred
- Ability to successfully complete an initial background check, as well as recurring background checks every three years as a condition of employment
