This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Chief of Staff in Spain.
This is a high-impact strategic role at the core of a fast-growing technology-driven organization transforming a traditional industrial sector through digital innovation and AI-powered processes. You will act as a key force multiplier for the CEO, ensuring strategic priorities are executed effectively while reducing operational friction across the business. The role combines strategic execution, cross-functional leadership, and deep process optimization, with a strong focus on building scalable systems and automation. You will also play a central role in identifying inefficiencies across teams and designing AI-driven solutions to improve productivity. Working closely with leadership, you will help translate vision into execution and ensure alignment across all departments. This is a highly dynamic position for someone who thrives in ambiguity, systems thinking, and high-ownership environments.
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO, supporting decision-making, preparing high-level meetings, and ensuring effective follow-through on key initiatives across the organization.
- Drive and lead high-impact, cross-functional special projects that require coordination across multiple departments and do not have a predefined ownership structure.
- Manage and reduce CEO cognitive load by prioritizing strategic tasks, filtering operational demands, and ensuring focus on high-leverage activities.
- Identify operational bottlenecks across departments and map inefficiencies within and between workflows.
- Design and implement AI-driven automation solutions, including the deployment of AI agents to replace or optimize repetitive or manual processes where applicable.
- Lead traditional process optimization initiatives where automation is not suitable, ensuring measurable improvements in efficiency and execution quality.
- Define and track key performance metrics such as time saved, throughput improvement, and operational efficiency gains.
- Foster alignment across leadership and operational teams, ensuring clarity, accountability, and execution consistency.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in high-growth environments such as consulting, venture capital, tech operations, or similar strategic roles.
- Strong academic background in Systems Engineering, Management Science, Business Administration (MBA), or a related technical field.
- Strong systems thinking mindset with the ability to understand and optimize complex organizational processes.
- Experience or strong familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks, automation tools, and workflow optimization approaches.
- Ability to design logic flows and understand API integrations (hands-on development not required, but strong technical intuition is essential).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- High emotional intelligence, low ego, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership and accountability.
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills with a bias toward measurable impact.
Benefits:
- High-impact strategic role with direct influence on company direction and execution.
- Significant autonomy and ownership in shaping processes, systems, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Flexible working model, including remote work or office-based options in Stuttgart.
- International, English-speaking, and diverse team environment.
- Flexible benefits package including monthly vouchers, Wellpass / EGYM, and other personalized options.
- Opportunity to work in a fast-scaling tech environment with real-world industrial impact.
- Exposure to cutting-edge AI-driven transformation initiatives and automation strategies.
- Dynamic, high-growth environment combining startup speed with long-term industry relevance.
