In this role, you will support the underwriting function by assisting in credit evaluations, data handling, and operational processes that ensure accurate and consistent lending decisions.
- Assist in reviewing credit applications and gathering required financial documentation.
- Support financial data entry, organization, and basic analysis for underwriting assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation of credit decisions.
- Collaborate with underwriting and credit teams to follow up on applications and resolve data gaps.
- Contribute to improving internal workflows and underwriting processes.
- Participate in continuous learning around risk assessment, financial analysis, and credit policies.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow in a fintech credit environment. You should be comfortable working with numbers and collaborating in a team-driven setting.
- Background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related fields (recent graduates welcome).
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with financial data.
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for data organization and analysis.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and credit evaluation is a plus.
- Experience or familiarity with data tools such as Snowflake dashboards is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop in risk, underwriting, and financial analysis.
