Function/Duties of Position

The specific duties of this position include:

Clinical Service (90%): The Speech-Language Pathologist Fellow (SLP) in this position will participate in many of CDRC’s interdisciplinary clinics with a specific focus on the Neurodevelopmental Clinic. The SLP will be responsible for evaluation, team collaboration, and family feedback. The SLP will participate in follow-up treatment of CDRC clinic patients, including the Autism Parent Training Program.

Teaching/Education (10%): The SLP fellowship functions within the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program. The LEND program promotes leadership, research skills, and clinical expertise in graduate level health care professionals who intend to devote their careers to working with children, youth, and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities. The SLP Fellow position requires participation in scholarship through the mentored research project. The SLP fellow is also engaged in teaching throughout the LEND program, developing presentations, and teaching other disciplines who are fellows in the LEND program.


Required Qualifications
  • The Speech-language Pathologist will hold a graduate degree in SLP and be a current LEND Fellow in the Institute for Development & Disability.
  • Must hold current CCC/SLP or CCC-CF (SLP) status and hold current Oregon SLP licensure (regular, initial, or conditional).
