The Sr. Regulatory Reporting Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely regulatory and statistical reporting for commercial and personal lines of business. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze complex insurance data, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions to maintain compliance with state and national reporting requirements. The position involves collaboration with internal stakeholders, IT teams, and external regulatory bodies, while supporting process improvements and system enhancements. - Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory and statistical reports to state insurance departments, ISO, MA CAR, SFAA, NCCI, and other relevant regulatory entities.
- Analyze and address data discrepancies, perform root cause investigations, and implement solutions to maintain reporting accuracy.
- Evaluate the impact of new products, system changes, and regulatory updates on reporting processes, collaborating with IT and business teams to implement adjustments.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and approve implementation of system or reporting changes.
- Reconcile regulatory and financial data, investigate anomalies, and respond to internal and external inquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, bulletins, and circulars to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Document and maintain reporting procedures, proactively identify process improvements, and enhance reporting efficiency and consistency.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
- 7+ years of experience with a commercial Property & Casualty insurance carrier.
- 7+ years of experience in statistical or regulatory reporting, or equivalent expertise.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.
- Knowledge of commercial and personal P&C insurance products, regulatory requirements, and reporting processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), and familiarity with SQL, COGNOS, or PowerBI is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and work independently.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in a compliance-focused environment.
- Preferred certifications or coursework include CPCU, IDMA, or actuarial/accounting experience; familiarity with statistical coding is advantageous.
- Competitive salary ranging from $83,000 to $108,000 per year, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
