About This Position

Description:

SUMMARY

Develop, implement, and manage an integrated marketing plan for all of TII’s brands and products utilizing all forms of media and communication

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create a professional marketing presence within TII (Professionalism).
  • Create a position that creatively projects a positive and visible TII image (Creativity).
  • Create a position that can instill confidence within the marketing environment (Leadership).
  • Create a position to control and facilitate all marketing efforts of TII (Responsibility).
  • Create a position that can see the benefits of our equipment and explain it to others through media (Resourcefulness).
  • Create a position that knows the different medias and how to use them (Production).
  • Design the look and usability of Company websites and other social media, updating content on a regular basis.
  • Create and maintain corporate identity; ensure that each company brand is used in a consistent manner across all promotional materials, websites, presentations, tradeshow displays, business cards, manuals, letterhead, newsletter, etc.
  • Create professional sales presentation formats for products, services, and capabilities. This will include brochures, videos, and email blasts.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop product branding.
  • Design, gather information for, and publish quarterly newsletter.
  • Search out and find opportunities for free listings in all industry/trade publications.
  • Create new case studies/white papers to showcase Company capabilities; assist in developing articles for trade show presentation and/or publication in trade periodicals/websites.
  • Review, rewrite, and generally improve the usability and effectiveness of all product manuals.
  • Ensure that proper authorization is obtained prior to the use of any content for work product not owned by the Company.
  • Prepare and present reports summarizing website and marketing analytics.
  • Assist management team as required.
  • Functions in workplace of dignity and respect for all.

  • Reports for work on time as scheduled and ready to perform.
  • Performs other similar or related duties as assigned, or as necessary, to accomplish the department's objectives in an effective manner.
Requirements:

SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Accountable for all concerns within their scope of work and has the absolute responsibility to remedy, report and/or communicate any issue to managers, supervisors, safety or environmental managers as appropriate.
  • Follows all safe work practices, watches out for fellow workers, and keeps their work area clean.
  • Ensures area remains compliant regarding hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste and universal waste.
  • The following personal protection equipment is required and must be worn while working in the manufacturing facility or customers’ facilities:
  1. Company approved safety glasses or goggles
  2. Company approved steel ESD toe shoes.
  3. Appropriate hand protection.
  4. Ear protection in designated areas.
  5. Appropriate clothing.
  6. Other safety equipment as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor in Marketing, Journalism or related field and two to three years related experience. Knowledge and experience with various software packages such as Microsoft Office, Quark Xpress, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. Ability to communicate both verbally and written. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers or employees.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE SKILLS: General computer skills, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Excellent knowledge and understanding of various software packages such as Quark Xpress and Adobe Creative Cloud. Some understanding of HTML based web page design and Salesforce CRM considered a plus.
  • EQUIPMENT: Computer, video equipment, camera, and other basic office equipment.
