Lead and manage cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and implement initiatives to drive health systems process improvement within multiple client emergency departments. Shape and execute process improvement strategies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency. Oversee design and implementation of innovative solutions using simulation, modeling, and optimization software for the healthcare industry. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process improvements and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members on process improvement methodologies and best practices. Proactively conduct thorough process assessments and utilize data-driven methodologies to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement process improvement policies and procedures. Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations on process improvement initiatives to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Requires Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, and 2 years of experience. 2 years must include experience with: design and implementation of process improvement solutions for the healthcare industry; relational data technologies; simulation modeling software (ARENA, SIMIO, or FLEXSIM); and optimization software used to analyze and visually display data associated with health conditions and services in emergency departments.
