We are seeking a Site Accountant to complete the financial operations of our Florida State Fence locations in Ocala and Tampa. This role is on-site 100%. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, strong site accounting experience, and a collaborative mindset. The Site Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational support, while also contributing to an upcoming ERP implementation project.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring completeness , accuracy and compliance.
  • Complete day-to-day financial operations, maintaining strong internal controls and adherence to company policies.
  • Supervise and mentor a small team of 2 accounting clerks, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain division budgets and forecasts and provide insightful variance analysis to leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with Managers to support project budgeting and cost tracking.
  • Prepare and review monthly journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits, working with internal and external auditors.
  • Participate in the ERP system implementation project, ensuring it aligns with financial processes and provides accurate data for decision-making.
  • Take on special projects and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
  • Complete weekly payroll and 401k reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
