About This Position

Site Training Specialist

The Site Training Specialist is responsible for developing, facilitating, and supervising training programs. They will organize and direct the site training, standardize the process, and drive innovation across the account. The Site Training Specialist will support the alignment of existing sites as well as the setup and turnover of new sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Training
  • Train new hires in company policies and procedures and use the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience; organized in initial site orientation for new hires.
  • Create, track and report on training schedules for all site employees and keep employees informed of training and their progress.
  • Maintain the site training database. Create printed and instructional materials to be used in training.
  • Research curriculum actively and remain up to date on developments within the industry and competitors.
  • Seek and gather information from management, employees, and other departments regarding the effectiveness of completed training courses and constantly seek to improve.
  • Measure employee's information retention rates by issuing assessment tests and quizzes on course materials.
  • Organize all CFT test and Boards, coordinate and monitor Boards to ensure all records are filled out properly, records are maintained accurately, and that all Boards are performed with the same standards.

  • Schedule and conduct meetings with management to proactively identify topics to be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction.
  • Recommend training materials and methods, order and maintain in-house training equipment and facilities and manage the budget.

  • Drills
  • Organize and maintain site drill schedule to ensure SOW and playbook compliance.
  • Organize and lead drills as outlined by the clients playbook and the SOW.
  • Coordinate with Sit and T5FM Leadership to ensure Drills are performed in accordance with the T5 Continuous Training directive (to ensure all Primary and Secondary Drill scenarios are completed each year).

  • Reporting
  • Track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.
  • Update CFT program curriculum as required.
  • Provide updates (as required by the customer) to Site Leadership.

  • Procedure
  • Support the onboarding of sites in their development and / or reviews of Day 1 procedures.
  • Train account personnel on procedure development and any Change Management items that require training, tracking, and spot checking to ensure the changes are implemented fully.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, required.
  • 7+ years in a Critical Engineering role or related experience, required.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others at all levels of the T5 organization from facility-level direct reports to executive management, as well as existing and potential customers, and external vendors and suppliers.
  • Previous training experience
  • Experience working in Learning management systems a plus.
  • This position may require on-site emergency response.
