Job Summary:

The Credit Analysts (CRE) provides timely and quality financial spreading and analysis and assists with the preparation of approval packets for commercial loan requests and annual reviews. The Credit Analyst will calculate and determine borrower’s compliance with loan covenants and will support the credit risk function of the bank by performing other duties as assigned.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

Spreads business and personal financial statements and prepares financial analysisSupports commercial underwriting by inputting customer information into presentation format (i.e. Sageworks)Prepares appropriate cash flow analysis to determine the borrower’s ability to service debt obligationsWorks with Commercial Portfolio Managers to understand the client's requests and/or current financial performance.Independently researches and analyzes company, industry and economic dataIndependently calculates borrower financial covenants for compliance with loan agreementsPrepares various reports that support management reporting and trackingMaintains familiarity with Loan Policy and Loan Guidelines in order to determine complianceSuccessfully completes any assigned credit trainingPerforms other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

Credit Analyst I:BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or other business-related field preferredAt least one year of experience or an internship in banking preferred, but less may be consideredCredit Analyst II:BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferredAt least two years of prior credit analysis experience requiredSome banking or other financial related experience desired

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Ability to research and understand commercial and commercial real estate lending and banking regulationsAbility to deal effectively with customers and employees at all levels of the bank organization

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions.

Credit Analyst I - Hiring Salary Range: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour (Annualized at 40 hours per week: $49,734 - $58,810)

Credit Analyst II - Hiring Salary Range: $26.75 - $31.25 (Annualized at 40 hours per week: $55,692 - $65,520)
