HTI is recruiting an experienced Senior Accountant for a large manufacturing company located approximately 35 minutes south of Little Rock, AR. This is a direct hire, full-time, salaried position. This role will be onsite full-time for the first few months, and then will become hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote). This is a new position due to growth. Relocation assistance is available for candidates located outside of the area. The salary range is approximately $85,000 – $115,000 / year, depending on experience and education. The company offers a generous employee bonus program.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of recent experience as a Staff Accountant, Cost Accountant, or Senior Accountant in the manufacturing industry
- Must have at least 5 years of experience with the accounting job duties listed below
- Advanced MS Excel skills, and at least 2+ years of experience with an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)
- Experience with financial analysis and/or cost accounting is strongly preferred
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and driven with the desire to grow and move up within the organization
Job Duties:
- General accounting duties to include month-end close cycle, general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, quarterly/year-end close
- Production and financial reporting
- Treasury activities
- Financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements
- Inventory management – maintain inventory records for raw materials and finished goods, reconcile variances from monthly and year-end physical inventory counts, prepare inventory valuation reports
- Support Controller by assisting with budgets/forecasting by providing cost data and trend analysis, preparing financial projections for capital expenditures, labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Develop ad hoc analysis and reports to support decision-making for production and cost control.
- Participate in continuous improvement by analyzing processes and recommending solutions.
- This role reports to the Controller and works alongside the plant Staff Accountant. This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
