MEISON is a collection of high-end and luxury women’s apparel brands including Jones New York, Misook, Ming Wang, and Kasper. Position Summary:

The Product Development Coordinator plays a vital role in bridging the gap between design concepts and physical production. You will be responsible for the technical accuracy of product data, managing the lifecycle of proto and sales samples, and maintaining the creative environment of our showroom. This role requires a blend of technical apparel knowledge, meticulous organization, and the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Technical Design & Vendor Communication

  • Review comprehensive tech packs provided by the Design team to ensure all specifications are clear and executable
  • Communicate tech packs and design updates to vendors in a timely manner to maintain production schedules
  • Support the research and development of new materials and assist in the strategic allocation of materials to specific vendors

Lifecycle & Sample Management

  • Manage the tracking and review process for all proto samples
  • Support the creation and diligent upkeep of the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) data and PD charts through the drop cut meeting phase
  • Monitor production timelines to ensure samples arrive on schedule for review meetings

Operations & Facility Maintenance

  • Facilitate the daily maintenance of the showroom, including coordinating cleaning, repairs and professional maintenance
  • Manage supply inventory to ensure the team and showroom are fully stocked
  • Lead the organization and execution of company events and professional conferences

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree in either Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Fashion Design, Apparel Production or related field
  • 0-1 year of experience. Recent graduates with relevant internship experience in the apparel industry are highly encouraged to apply
  • Must demonstrate a fundamental understanding of garment construction, fabric types and the product lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple sample deadlines and administrative tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to read and write in both English & Chinese is a plus
