Overview
We are seeking a Network Administrator with 5 years of experience providing boots on the ground IT support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with all levels of employees with varying levels of IT knowledge. Your experience should include monitoring and maintaining computer networks, ensuring security measures remain tight, installing hardware and software and providing technical support to end users. Prior experience supporting the construction industry is a plus!
Duties
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
Troubleshoot and resolve end-user computing issues
- Set up and configure new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
- Research new technology and recommend changes to improve our computer or information systems
- Assist in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls and network devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on various workstation and server operating systems
- Typical work schedule is M-F 8 AM- 5 PM, with occasional availability on weekends
Experience and skills required Entry Level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of employees
- Your experience with Cytracom (Phone System), PlanGrid (Construction Management),
- SQL Server, and Working with a Plotter will assist you in your daily duties at Gilliatte.
- 5 or more years of experience in boots on the ground IT support strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
- Experience in software / hardware troubleshooting
- Experience with Windows networking
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment via face-to-face conversations, e-mail, telephone, zoom, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Occasional availability outside of 8 AM- 5 PM
- Experience working with a variety of personalities and skill sets required
