As a Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, or Patient Care Assistant, you will manage the care of assigned patients in a physician practice setting. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. Position Details:
- Full Time; 1.0 FTE
- Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM
You will be responsible for:
• Reviewing and evaluating results of diagnostic tests and taking appropriate action
• Assisting in performing exams, diagnostic procedures and treatments, and minor medical procedures
• Assisting with the development of patient education plans
What you will need:
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Georgia, certified or registered medical assistant, or prior experience as a CNA, PCA, or Phlebotomist preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required for Medical Assistant or Patient Care Assistant candidates.
- Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse program for LPN candidates.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification required for licensed practical nurse or medical assistant candidates. Preferred, but not required for patient care assistant.
