Lead Plumber at Millers Coastline Plumbing LLC – Sarasota, Florida

Our projects range from large commercial, residential new builds, remodels, to service calls. A company vehicle will be provided, along with most tools (excluding small hand tools) and a fuel card. This is a leadership role for someone who is dependable, detail oriented, and refuses to cut corners. Qualifications:

• Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of schematics reading, and mechanical systems and installing standard to complex plumbing systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment safely and efficiently on demanding construction sites.
• Great communication skills to coordinate with project managers, contractors, crew members and other trades.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred; ability to travel between multiple job sites as needed.
• Strong basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation.
• Ability to problem solve any issues that may arise on jobsite.
• Prior field service experience with a focus on plumbing system troubleshooting and repairs in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams effectively while maintaining safety standards at all times. • Lead and supervise plumbing crews on construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing systems to guide installation and repair processes.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, and remodeling of plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of plumbing components within larger construction efforts.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
• Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while handling piping materials, fixtures, and equipment across construction sites.
• Provide mentorship to apprentice plumbers and junior team members while fostering a culture of safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
• Must have Driver's License
