Sr. Product Manager, Data & Integrations

About the role:

The Sr. Product Manager, Data & Integrations, is a key strategic role responsible for defining and leading PetDesk’s integrations and data product strategy. This position exists to bridge critical gaps in industry knowledge and corporate customer communication, particularly concerning the PIMS landscape and US-based client needs.

The core mission is to manage the roadmap for all data products, including APIs, connectors, partner reporting, and internal tools, ensuring the platform is both powerful and scalable. By providing strategic guidance and execution of the roadmap, this role will add value for existing customers, balance technical debt, and drive competitive features in the market. Key accomplishments include increasing integration adoption, reducing overall support effort, and successfully completing the migration to new API/Integration infrastructure. The PM will operationalize data for product teams and internal stakeholders, translating customer and partner needs into clear product requirements and scalable data flows.

Candidates must be available to work standard U.S. Eastern Time hours to ensure effective collaboration with distributed teams and external partners.

As a Senior Product Manager at PetDesk, you’ll define and lead our integrations and data product strategy.

  • You’ll work to build data products for external and internal consumption to support business needs

  • You’ll own the roadmap for all of Petdesk’s data products including APIs and connectors, partner reporting and internal data tools

  • You’ll work to operationalize data for the product teams and internal stakeholders

  • You’ll be accountable for measurable outcomes including integration adoption, time to implement, reliability, and overall support effort ensuring our platform is both powerful and scalable as we grow

  • Translate customer and partner needs into clear product requirements and plans

  • Partner closely with engineering to design reliable, scalable integrations and data flows

  • Prioritize across competing integration opportunities and requests

  • Work with Client Success and Solution Engineers to ensure implementations are straightforward and low-friction

  • Lead integration initiatives from early discovery, through launch, and continued maintenance

About you:
  • 5-7 years of product management experience, including ownership of a product area or end-to-end platform

  • 1–3 years of experience managing and developing Product Owners, including coaching, prioritization alignment, and performance management

  • Experience leading projects with highly technical integration functionality inbound data connectors, outbound APIs/webhooks, or ETL pipelines

  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as APIs and webhooks, ETL/data pipelines, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker), data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), and agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

  • Strong technical fluency and the ability to collaborate deeply with engineers

  • A track record of building scalable solutions rather than custom one-offs

  • Comfort operating independently and setting strategy for a full product domain

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills

  • Experience integrating or working with healthcare technologies or veterinary practice management systems.

  • Experience working with external partners or third-party ecosystems

  • Experience supporting customer onboarding or implementation workflows
