Job Title: Practice Administrator – Colorado West Otolaryngologists
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced and highly motivated Practice Administrator to oversee the daily operations, financial performance, and strategic growth of a busy private practice specializing in Otolaryngology (ENT) and Audiology services. This leadership role supports a multidisciplinary team of 5 ENT physicians, 5 Audiologists, and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient experience.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong business acumen, healthcare operations experience, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations across ENT and Audiology service lines
- Ensure efficient patient flow, scheduling, and resource utilization
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive process improvements
Financial Management
- Manage practice financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Oversee bookkeeping and financial tracking using QuickBooks
- Analyze revenue cycle performance and optimize profitability
- Partner with billing team to improve collections, reduce denials, and ensure compliance
Revenue Cycle & Billing Oversight
- Supervise in-house billing team and revenue cycle operations
- Monitor payer trends, reimbursements, and A/R performance
- Implement strategies to improve revenue cycle efficiency
Human Resources Management
- Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
- Develop and maintain a positive, accountable workplace culture
Contracting & Vendor Management
- Negotiate and manage payer contracts and vendor agreements
- Evaluate contract performance and reimbursement rates
- Maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
- Maintain readiness for audits and accreditation requirements
- Develop and enforce internal controls and risk mitigation strategies
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Collaborate with physician leadership on long-term strategy and expansion
- Identify opportunities for service line growth and operational improvement
- Support implementation of new technologies, services, and initiatives
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of healthcare management experience (private practice preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical practice operations and revenue cycle management
- Experience managing financials, budgets, and reporting
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
Preferred:
- Experience in ENT, Audiology, or surgical specialties
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
- Familiarity with ModMed EMR
- Knowledge of payer contracting and negotiations
- Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, or related)

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 annually DOE
