About This Position
Overall goal: To support the production line/process by being a safe and productive employee and aiding in the production and shipping of Sphere Renewable products.
Role Objectives:
• To assemble to product specifications
• To execute the company policy
• To ensure full compliance with legal OSHA and ISO requirements
Duties and responsibilities
Production
• Perform a variety of tasks to accurately assemble fiberglass and plastic assemblies and subassemblies.
• Safely operate hand tools required to assemble parts.
• Safely operate overhead and rotating equipment.
• Work from basic visual aids, layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written/verbal assembly instructions.
• Perform quality checks on work in progress and completed assemblies in accordance with quality specifications.
• Safely load assemblies onto shipping racks.
• Organizing stock and maintaining inventory at your workstation.
• Inspecting products for defects and damages.
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and quality standards.
Environmental, Health & Safety
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment [PPE]
• Participate in company sponsored safety training
• Follow safe work practices
• Report unsafe/hazardous conditions
• Comply with the company’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality [HSEQ] Policy, E002
General
• Work on continuous improvement of all facets under your responsibility and document results
• Self-development
• Any other duties for which you are deemed capable of by senior management.
Requirements:
• Good communication skills
• Able to use basic hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of safety protocols & procedures
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent attendance
• Ability to lift to 50pounds.
