Location: Vanderhoof, BC or Burns Lake BC
Employment Type: Full-Time, 35 hours per week

The Opportunity: The Health and Wellness Cultural Coordinator will develop a toolkit and coordinate programs and activities aimed at empowering communities by facilitating active participation in addressing collective issues and improving the quality of life within community.
- Assess community needs, identify barriers, and leverage community assets and capacities.
- Work with community groups and other CSFS frontline programs to provide a range of activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate Atsoo programs, and serve as a "train the trainer," and promote the program within the community.
- Facilitate and support women’s groups. Lead and coordinate regular meetings, workshops, and events that address the unique needs and challenges of women in the community.
- Coordinate and facilitate programs like Healing the Healers and Atsoo, focusing on community wellness and capacity-building.
- Build community capacity to share knowledge and resources effectively

What You Will Bring to The Role:
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences preferred, or
- Diploma in Social Services plus 3-5 years of experience in development and empowerment of communities

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $30.56 to $39.57 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
