About the role

The Travel Insurance Specialist is the frontline of Xodus’ customer interactions. They are responsible for selling and servicing travel insurance policies and handling any questions related to the customer’s travel insurance journey, focusing on communicating with our customers in whatever manner they desire. The role requires sales-focused individuals committed to protecting our customers' best interests.   

What you'll do

• Provide expert advice, recommendations, and counselling to prospective customers about their travel insurance coverage, customizing insurance solutions to their unique needs
• Quote and sell policies to customers through an omnichannel contact center solution
• Leverage your in-depth knowledge of insurance products to ensure customers understand their travel coverage, addressing concerns and inquiries in a professional manner
• Service existing customers' insurance products, assisting customers through pre-travel and ongoing travel disruptions, connecting them with medical and claims-related resources
• Continuous self-development via industry training and other courses  
• Remain up to date with product knowledge in a dynamic environment

The skills you bring

• Accident and Sickness License or RIBO License is preferred
• Proficiency in a second language (French, Spanish, etc.) is preferred
• Motivated by a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Interest in pushing the status quo and improving processes to better your and your peer's experience
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
