Essential Functions of the Role:
Reiser is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to maintain and improve inventory accuracy across all warehouse operations. This role is responsible for cycle counting, discrepancy investigation, and ensuring all inventory transactions are properly executed and aligned between physical stock and system records.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable working across teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform cycle counts and maintain high inventory accuracy
- Monitor inventory levels and identify discrepancies between physical and system inventory
- Investigate root causes of variances and implement corrective actions
- Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in the ERP system
- Identify gaps in inventory processes and recommend improvements
- Help standardize procedures for inventory handling, transactions, and adjustments
- Utilize RF scanners and ERP system to perform and audit inventory transactions
- Assist in maintaining accurate location data and inventory records
- Work closely with receiving, put away, and shipping teams to resolve inventory issues
- Help maintain an organized warehouse with clearly defined inventory locations
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or related field
- Strong experience with RF scanners and ERP/WMS systems (Prelude or similar preferred)
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory audits
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipments is a plus
- Forklift and material handling equipment experience (sit-down forklift, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and accountability
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset
- Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical components is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
