The Parts Counter Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the daily operations of the parts department. This role assists customers and service technicians by identifying, sourcing, and selling the correct parts and accessories efficiently and accurately. Success in this position requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Parts Sales & Operations

Assist customers in identifying and purchasing parts and accessories that meet their needsProvide parts support to service technicians to ensure efficient workflowAccurately process all sales transactions, including cash, credit, and check paymentsHandle core returns, warranties, and merchandise returns in accordance with dealership proceduresMaintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory movementVerify incoming shipments and receiving documentationFollow up on parts shortages and communicate with the Parts Manager to expedite ordersSupport merchandising efforts to ensure parts are properly displayed and stockedMaintain a clean, organized, and safe parts departmentUtilize dealership tools and systems safely and effectivelyAttend training to stay current on products, systems, and proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedCustomer Service
