About This Position
Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the Enterprise Ways of Working (EWoW) team. This role will drive large-scale strategic programs, portfolio operations, and technology investment planning across enterprise-wide stakeholders.
You will play a key role in translating enterprise strategy into structured execution by aligning business, product, and technology teams while ensuring transparency, governance, and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Strategy, Operations & Governance- Drive and evolve the end-to-end portfolio operating model (ideation → intake → prioritization → funding → delivery)
- Establish standardized planning processes and ensure adoption across business and engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead end-to-end program management of technology investment planning cycles
- Manage timelines, governance checkpoints, stakeholder engagement, and execution
- Continuously optimize planning processes for efficiency and scalability
- Define business requirements for portfolio management tools
- Partner with technology teams to align tooling with governance and operational needs
- Ensure high-quality reporting, data integrity, and tool adoption
- Translate complex concepts into scalable, repeatable processes
- Drive adoption of new operating models under Transforming Ways of Working (TWOW)
- Establish governance frameworks and feedback loops
- Lead enterprise-wide training, communication, and change enablement
- Develop executive-level presentations and dashboards
- Communicate complex ideas through clear storytelling
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
- Align cross-functional teams across business, product, and delivery
- Provide visibility into cost, capacity, and resource constraints
- 8+ years of experience in program management, portfolio management, product management, or consulting
- Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise programs across planning, execution, and governance
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and project/program management frameworks
- Experience defining roadmaps, prioritization strategies, and operating models
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience with enterprise tools such as JIRA, Clarity (Hub), Apptio Target Process, Power BI, Tableau, Confluence, Rally
- Experience with AI-enabled tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for productivity and reporting
- Prior experience in financial services or payments domain
