This role provides a unique opportunity to lead and grow a high-performing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team focused on critical infrastructure platforms. You will be responsible for managing the team, coordinating operational execution, and ensuring high-quality delivery of large-scale data migrations and system reliability. The position emphasizes people management, coaching, and professional development while maintaining technical credibility. You will drive operational excellence, refine shift and coverage models, and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve tools, processes, and metrics. - Hire, mentor, and manage a team of Site Reliability Engineers, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture
- Lead operational execution of infrastructure migrations and platform cutovers, including planning, live execution, and post-cutover validation
- Coordinate shift schedules and weekend coverage to ensure high-quality operational support across multiple regions
- Manage Geo-related escalations, ensuring timely, accurate resolution and maintaining robust runbooks and operational guardrails
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize engineering investments, enhance tooling, and drive process improvements
- Track, report, and analyze operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and ensure team health
- Participate in incident management rotations to support platform availability and reliability goals
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience managing SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering teams operating large-scale distributed systems
- Proven ability to lead in a remote, high-performance environment, collaborating across multiple time zones and cultures
- Strong technical background in cloud platforms, observability, incident response, and distributed multi-tenant architectures
- Experience managing or contributing to large-scale data migrations where customer data integrity and downtime risk are critical
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality, low-risk operational outcomes
