FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION TYPE: Full-time

POSITION SUMMARY:

Metal Shop worker will run a roll former and trim machine for metal. You will ensure all pieces manufactured are suitable for the shipment. You must have a good work ethic and are able to be on your feet for most of the day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Sets up the machines to perform the needed task for the order needing to be manufactured.
2. Verifies that the order has been completed and inspects to make sure it is free from defect.
3. Bundles or wraps the order to be shipped or picked up
4. Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 8+ hours
5. Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures
6. Ability to work with hands
7. Safety awareness of anything in the shop that may be hazardous to employees or visitors.
8. Additional duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
2. Basic computer skills
3. Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities, with enthusiasm
4. Forklift experience is preferred
5. Ability to:
   • Understand and follow oral and written instructions
   • Demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position
