In this role, you will lead a team of engineers to support and optimize cloud environments critical for global operations. Your hands-on approach will drive cloud maturity and ensure the delivery of high-quality applications in Public Cloud settings. Collaborating with various engineering teams, you will refine operational processes and partake in the strategic vision for cloud implementations. You will also be responsible for executive-level presentations to align team goals with company objectives.Accountabilities

• Work collaboratively with operations leads to support Public Cloud environments.
• Hire, lead, and manage an effective engineering team to enhance productivity.
• Refine and transform operational processes in high-availability systems.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with the Global IT Operations team.
• Maintain and enhance the cloud roadmap with estimations of work scope.
• Provide engineering execution excellence and technical vision for the cloud team.
• Create and deliver presentations to communicate goals and secure buy-in.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or 7+ years of applicable experience.
• 7+ years of technology leadership experience in Engineering functions, with 3+ years managing managers.
• Experience managing engineering teams of 15+ with multiple agile teams.
• 8+ years of experience with Public Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 3+ years in cloud migration (on-prem to cloud or vice versa).
• Programming skills in shell and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes and Nomad.
• Creative, flexible, and an innovative team player.
• Ability to manage complex projects with minimal guidance.
• Adaptable and proactive in a collaborative environment under pressure.
• Intellectually curious and open to challenges.
