BH Doors and Hardware is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Estimator to lead our estimating team and manage the full lifecycle of project bids. In this key role, youll serve as the primary liaison between sales and estimating, ensuring seamless project intake, accurate estimate development, and professional proposal delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of junior estimators

• Serve as the main communication point between sales and estimating teams

• Receive, assign, and monitor incoming estimating projects

• Review junior estimators work for accuracy, scope, and completeness

• Solicit and follow up on vendor pricing

• Compile final pricing and generate professional customer proposals

• Coordinate with sales for timely proposal delivery

• Transition awarded jobs to the project management team with complete documentation

• Maintain organized records of all estimates, pricing, and proposals

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the door and hardware industry

• Deep knowledge of doors, frames, and commercial hardware specifications

• Proven experience in reviewing and developing estimates

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills

• Excellent organization and communication abilities

• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines
