• Design, optimize, and maintain backend systems for performance and reliability.
• Identify and resolve runtime, scalability, and integration issues across distributed services.
• Improve server-side efficiency, stability, and throughput for demanding workloads.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments, primarily using AWS.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, focusing on backend systems.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, primarily using Node.js in production.
• Experience designing and operating high-scale, distributed backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of databases and caching layers (SQL/NoSQL, in-memory caches).
• Deep understanding of web fundamentals including HTTP, APIs, and application servers.
• Proven ability to architect and design backend components and system integrations.
• Strong testing mindset with experience in unit, integration, and automated testing.
• Analytical problem-solver capable of diagnosing complex production issues.
• Effective communicator able to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
