Remote Legal Counsel - REMOTE

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Legal Counsel. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and mitigating risks. You will advise on corporate governance, commercial agreements, regulatory matters, and other legal issues to align with the strategic objectives of the company. Your expertise will contribute significantly to supporting a diverse and inclusive global economy. You will tackle complex challenges that affect millions of people's working lives, driving meaningful impact while building invaluable expertise in a rapidly evolving environment.Accountabilities
  • Assisting in ensuring global compliance with intellectual property transfer agreements.
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial and corporate agreements.
  • Providing accurate and timely legal advice on topics such as fintech, labor laws, and corporate matters.
  • Reviewing and negotiating client and vendor agreements while supporting internal compliance efforts.
  • Handling various other legal issues and projects as they arise.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with at least 2 years in-house or advising corporate clients in France.
  • Strong expertise in French employment law and knowledge of staff leasing regulations is a plus.
  • Good understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks for international service providers.
  • Experience advising on cross-border employment and work permit regulations is preferred.
  • Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in French and English is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization is a plus.
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment in handling sensitive matters.
