In this role, you will be instrumental in leading a team that focuses on maintaining operational compliance, driving efficiency, and successfully executing carrier-related projects. Your expertise will help ensure adherence to regulatory initiatives while overseeing daily operations, including producer appointments, reporting, and issue management. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you will facilitate the growth and success of our services, ensuring high-quality operational materials and adherence to standards.Accountabilities
- Oversee the producer appointment process for carriers, ensuring timely and accurate submission of appointment requests and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific appointment regulations and deadlines.
- Monitor appointment status and resolve discrepancies or escalations promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of appointments and ensure proper documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
- Partner and coordinate with external entities and third-party administrators to support appointment requirements.
- Lead implementation of operational projects related to policy handling and claims.
- Supervise staff and provide daily direction and communication to assigned team members.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness; implement process improvements.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in insurance operations, compliance, or a related role.
- Experience with operations, state reporting, or producer licensing and appointments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring junior team members.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, compliance requirements, and producer appointment regulations.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
