Total Rewards Analyst/Payroll Administrator

We are currently looking for a Total Rewards Analyst/Payroll Administrator in the United States.This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with expertise in multi-state payroll and benefits administration. You will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing while supporting total rewards programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans. The position requires advanced use of HRIS and payroll systems to maintain data integrity, optimize workflows, and generate actionable insights. You will work closely with employees and management, resolving discrepancies and providing guidance on payroll and benefits matters. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential to thrive in a remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.Accountabilities:
  • Process and reconcile multi-state payroll accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of payroll tax regulations, garnishments, and other compliance requirements
  • Conduct system audits, troubleshoot issues, and optimize integrations across payroll, benefits, and accounting systems
  • Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans; support enrollment and HRIS updates
  • Analyze payroll and benefits data, identify trends, and prepare management reports
  • Proactively address employee questions related to payroll and benefits
  • Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Support compliance with COBRA, FMLA, ACA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in payroll administration in a multi-state environment using an HRIS system
  • 2+ years of experience in benefits administration or total rewards support
  • Intermediate knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and compliance requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, macros, and complex formulas
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • High integrity and ability to manage confidential information
  • Preferred: 6+ years of payroll administration experience, 4+ years of benefits/total rewards experience, market benchmarking and pay equity analysis
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CCP, SHRM, PHR)
