Assistant Store Manager

Reports To: Store Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the efficient and effective management of the store. Assumes store manger responsibilities when needed.

Rate of pay $16.50-$17.50/HR

List of Responsibilities

  • Assists the Store Manager in training positive individuals to become members of the Quicklee's Team.
  • Responsible for supporting and enforcing store operations, policies and procedures.
  • Support the store manager in keeping the store, site and equipment safe, clean, organized and properly stocked.
  • Assists manager in key responsibilities such as scheduling, attendance and payroll reporting, placing orders and daily job execution.
  • Communicate employee's relations problems and assist the store manager with shift coverage when needed.
  • Assists manager with daily bookkeeping, depositing, invoicing and gas survey.
  • Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner as established by management.
  • Support manager by controlling expenses and maintaining store goal hours.
  • Supports manager by maximizing profits and minimizing expenses.
  • Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive offs daily.
  • Provides prompt, courteous customer service and professionally manage any customer issues.
  • Notifies manager of unresolved customer or staff issues.
  • Responsible for having merchandise stocked, rotated, clean, properly priced and safely displayed.
  • Maintain quality brand image.
  • Has the ability to run a shift including performing all duties of a store cashier.
  • Assist store manager with monthly promotions, insure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time.
  • Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures.
  • Enforce all safety and security issues and report any and all unsafe conditions.

Education / Experience: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) recommended.
