Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on production and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain, service, and repair motors, VFDs, PLC-controlled systems, sensors, and electrical control panels.
• Identify and resolve electrical failures efficiently to reduce downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and plant equipment.
• Read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic.
• Assist with equipment installations, line modifications, and system upgrades.
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, GMP standards, food safety requirements, and applicable electrical codes.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and arc-flash safety standards at all times.
• Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders within the CMMS or maintenance logs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably within food or beverage manufacturing environments.
• Strong working knowledge of PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or comparable platforms).
• Hands-on experience with VFDs, servo systems, motors, and industrial automation equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and work safely with 480V, three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience with HMIs and industrial networking is a plus.
• Electrical license or certification (state-issued or journeyman level) preferred
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in environments that may include hot, cold, or wet conditions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance.
