About the Role We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Manager of Ground Operations Training to lead the development and delivery of instructor-led and online training for our Ground Operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining training records, managing training databases and materials and providing training support to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient ground operations. Reports To: Director, Ground Operations

Qualifications
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Able to obtain airport security clearance, required.
Three years of airline training experience. Substitution may include three years 121 certificated airline ground and customer service operations.
The ability to communicate ideas and effectively manage the interpersonal situations that arise during instruction.
Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
A teaching or training background is preferred.
Ability to develop and deliver effective training.
Ability to organize and schedule training events, monitor training completions, and accurately maintain training records.
Able to actively promote and personally observe safety and security procedures.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities 1. Management a. Prepare and manage the training budget. b. Administrator for the Company online Learning Management System.

2. Training Development a. Develop and update lesson plans, training materials and job aids for Ground Operations training curriculum. b. Develop courseware for the Company online Learning Management System. c. Create, distribute, and record training bulletins.

3. Training Delivery a. Schedule and coordinate training events. b. Provide classroom instruction and hands-on training for assigned training curriculum.

4. Training Coordination a. Coordinate initial and recurrent training as required by regulations and company policies.

5. Training Records a. Maintain paper and electronic training records for all training, as required. b. Maintain electronic databases of training records for employees, contractors, and Ground Operations vendors. c. Monitor training completions on a daily basis and provide monthly updates to company managers.

6. Training Support a. Acquire and maintain extensive technical knowledge of applicable subject material. b. Maintain the appearance and functionality of all training facilities and equipment to ensure the best possible environment for both trainers and students. c. Create and update the Training page of the Company Intranet site. d. Recommend changes to company manuals to reflect operational changes. e. Interface with other company departments, to ensure consistency and coordination of training goals and activities. f. Provide on-site support for opening new stations.

Working Conditions: 1. Ability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed. 2. Must be able to travel by all modes of transportation.

Physical Requirements: 1. Ability to deliver classroom and hands-on training. 2. Ability to use computer while sitting at a desk. 3. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
