About This Position
Title: Strategic Services Manager
Reports to: Services Sales Manager
Location: North Sioux City, SD
Job Description: The Strategic Services Account Manager will play an important role in managing the engagements with Sterling’s top manufacturer partners. The Strategic Services Manager will also collaborate with Sterling’s SVP of Partner Alliances, Sales Leadership/Teams, Technical Leadership, Marketing Team, and their Partner Business Manager to help drive services solutions in-line with Sterling’s strategic goals and to support the over-all business objectives. The Strategic Services Manager will use sales, networking, business management, and communication skills to grow services revenue for Sterling’s top manufacturing partners.
Required Education/Experience: The Strategic Services Manager should have at least 4 years of sales, services sales, or partner management experience. They should be self-motivated and detail oriented, and have excellent written and oral communication skills, efficient time management skills, a strong business background, be professional in social settings, and be able to work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred Experience:
- NVIDIA or AI/ML
- MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook)
- Proficient with Sales Force
- Project Management
- IT Industry Experience
Primary Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Driving the Strategic Direction with the Partner OEM services team
- Driving the Strategic Direction with the Sterling Direct services team
- Partner Executive Communication
- Weekly sales communications emails/services sales training
- Manage partner SOW and oversee execution management
- Travel to visit OEM accounts quarterly
- Able to give large group presentations at the partner and within Sterling
- Plan and execute marketing content and plans for key partners
- Special projects and other duties as assigned by the leadership team
