About This Position
This is a Second Shift Supervisor position. The schedule is: Monday-Wednesday, 5pm to 5:30am with potential overtime on Thursdays during the busy season. If you apply, you must be able to work this schedule.
Position Summary
The Trim & Paint Department Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing daily operations within the Trim and Paint departments to ensure the production of high-quality products in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. This position provides hands-on leadership, coordinates workflow, assigns tasks, and supports team development while driving continuous improvement and schedule attainment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide daily leadership and direction to team leaders and production employees in Trim and Paint.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and balance workloads to ensure production schedules are met.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure products meet established quality and inspection standards.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees to develop skills and improve performance.
• Enforce compliance with all safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate priorities and expectations clearly to all team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
